- Average Delivery Time: Typically, 2-7 working days for in-stock items to UK Mainland Postcodes.
- Back Orders/Made to Measure: Between 3-5 weeks with prior communication of schedule.
- Delivery Hours: Free deliveries are scheduled between 08:30 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. If you require a specific delivery time, this can be arranged for an additional fee (subject to availability at the time of order). Please contact us at 0161 713 3085 for assistance.
- International Deliveries: We also offer deliveries to certain European countries. To arrange international delivery, please email sales@modularcoldrooms.com with the item details and delivery location, and we will provide a quote.

Refrigeration Engineer Call Out Terms

A £180 deposit is required to book an engineer.

If the engineer’s report confirms the fault is due to a manufacturer defect, the deposit will be fully refunded.

This refund only applies if:

You purchased a parts and labour warranty from us.

We installed your equipment.

Your equipment is still within its warranty period
If you have a parts-only warranty or your warranty has expired, the deposit is non-refundable. It covers the first hour of the engineer’s time only. Any additional labour, parts, or materials will be chargeable.
We work with independent engineers who cover the UK mainland.
Chargeable Call Outs
The call out will be chargeable if the fault is found to be caused by user error, misuse, or any of the following:

Poor installation or misuse of equipment

Repairs or interference by non-authorised engineers (including third parties)

Use of non-original manufacturer parts

Operation at incorrect voltage

Using the machine for purposes not stated in the instruction manual

Site ambient conditions outside of the recommended temperature range

Lack of cleaning/servicing, or failures caused by mineral, lime scale, or algae build-up

If no fault is found during assessment or no access

Final charges may be higher or lower than the £150 deposit. Any balance will be invoiced after the visit and is payable immediately.

Engineers aim to attend within 72 working hours.

Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm. Specific time slots cannot be guaranteed.

We cannot confirm a booking until card details are received.
